Fortunately, Google allows you to schedule emails in Gmail, so you can get your coworkers off your to-do list without having to worry about being out of business. Here’s how to schedule an email in Gmail. This process works almost identically on the web and iOS and Android mobile apps.

Steps of Scheule an Email

Step 1

Compose a new email and enter the recipient email address

Once a recipient is listed in the email, then the message can be scheduled. You will notice that there is a drop-down menu at the bottom of the Send button at the bottom of the email window. Click on it and select Send Schedule. Mobile users can access this option in the 3 dot menu.

 

Step 2

In the second step, you can see in the image a pop-up window has appeared for quickly selection.

In 3rd step, if you want to set a custom date and time then this option will be used. Pick the date and time which you want and click on “Scheule Send”

 

Manage Schedule Email

Once you select the time and date, the email is immediately fixed. A new schedule folder will be visible in Gmail, showing how many of your scheduled emails are pending. To view your default emails, open this folder with dates that indicate when they will be sent.

 

 

Cancel Send

After scheduling an email if you think you need to change the time you can cancel this email schedule by click on Cancel Send as you can see in the above image.
